The US client wanted to start a Mobile Refueling Platform to meet on-demand fuel delivery services. The client discussed the idea with DreamzTech offshore team and got started on developing a custom mobile refueling platform. The client had a vision to revolutionize the fuel delivery business by enabling mobile fuel delivery on demand to individuals at home or corporates at work or deliver fuel on water.

The Mobile fuel delivery platform is a combination of hardware and software programs working together to deliver a fuel on demand services catering to individuals and corporates. The platform allows individuals and corporates to register on the platform and get a MT 125 RFID Tag which uniquely identifies their vehicles. Using scheduling function they can setup routine fill-ups and ad-hoc requests on calendar.

The platform automatically assigns the fuelling tasks to the nearest available Fuel Delivery Pilots. When the fuel tankers arrive they scan each RFID MT 125 Tags using RFID MT 123 Scanner on for validity and order details,and limits(in case of corporate user). The RFID MT 123 Scanners are fixed on Dispenser Nozzle and dispenser is enabled only after validation.

The Solution

Client required a custom developed on-demand mobile fuel delivery platform where users can register and request ad-hoc or scheduled fuel delivery. This helps in fulfilling the order on demand.

DreamzTech designed, developed and implemented an RFID enabled Refueling System. The platform has a Mobile App for customers to register and make fueling requests. It keeps track of customer records, tracks their membership and manage the order processing. The platform offers eWallet to store virtual money, and vouchers to be used for payments. The platform has configuration section for corporate users to set their identity management, fueling limits and record orders, consumptions, and more. It reduces fraudulent activities and implement better cost control for corporates.

  • Membership Plan For Mobile Fuel Delivery:

    A Monthly Subscription Model is created for users to register and request on-demand fuel delivery. They can create recurring full ups on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule at any location within their serviceable area. User can also cancel the subscription plan any time. The stripe payment gateway is integrated for handling all sorts of payments transactions.

  • Corporate Fuel Delivery Plan for Employees:

    Corporate customers can add vehicles for work. Management can create different categories of employees and allocate fuel budgets. Before fueling, RFID Tag of vehicle is scanned for their limits and available fuel quota and processed according to the order.

  • Fuel Request on demand:

    The customer can create a request for an on-demand mobile fuel delivery. It is a simple OTP based process to verify and proceed with very few mandatory details. Admin also can add request from admin web for customer who requests over phone calls. Twilio SMS Gateway is integrated for SMS services. Users can book a slot for fuel delivery through their mobile app.

  • eWallet implementation :

    Any individual can add money into the eWallet using wide range of supported cards. Wallet money can be used for making payment for fuel delivery request.

  • The E-wallet system replaces the Cash on Delivery (CoD) transactions and stores Proof of Delivery (PoD) through wallet transactions. It helps user in quick payments without any hassle. In the system, from any of the transactions, the unused amounts are stored in wallet for future use.

  • Voucher implementation :

    The app has an option to purchase vouchers. Users can purchase the voucher and share with others. The vouchers are having a unique code. For payment transactions, users can use the voucher code to make payment.

  • Delivery App & Order processing:

    The delivery pilot can view the daily list of orders in the android and iOS mobile fuel delivery app to deliver. Each of the order is having information like booking code, full up date, time slot, customer name, delivery address, vehicle(s) with full up amount, generator with full up amount, bill total, current status of the order.
    Chat and call functions are built in the app for communication with client. Delivery pilot updates the delivery status of each order once the delivery is completed. The billed amount is auto deducted from the customer’s account on completion of delivery. Then It also alerts the delivery partner to check and receive customer feedback in image or video format. The digital signature of customer is also captured as Proof of Delivery.

  • GPS Tracking in App:

    Delivery pilot app has Google Map integrated and uses GPS navigation for delivery. The Delivery pilot can open the navigation on map to find the delivery location. Customer app has live-tracking option to check the movement of the fuel truck on map.

  • Referral program:

    A referral program is developed as marketing strategy where users can refer others to earn digital cash which is added to their wallet on every successful referral. Every registered user can share their unique referral code. When a user shares the referral code to someone, it automatically triggers and email invite with referral code and when signed up successfully, referral amount is added to user’s wallet.

  • Notification :

    On various actions such as registration or subscription, order creation, delivery status update etc, different notifications are sent over email and SMS. Customers receive push notifications for the order request status change. App user can tap on the bell icon to see the notifications on mobile app.

  • Document management:

    In the Delivery pilot’s portal, driver can view list of provided documents such as Manuals, User Guides etc. When a vehicle is registered, then the system verifies the license through License validation API.

  • Fuel usage statistics Report:

    Fuel usage report is available for customers. Corporates can keep track of each fueling. It provides a quick summary view to the managers and effective reportings for bookkeeping purposes.

  • RFID Enabled Fuel Delivery:

    DreamzTech implemented RFID hardware integration with the system to create a RFID enabled fuel delivery service platform. This RFID based system saves from the fuel theft. The framework and RFID integration can also be used in RFID based automated petrol pumps.
    RFID MT123 Fixed Reader hardware is attached at the dispenser fuel Nozzle and MT 125 RFID Tags are attached to the vehicles. The delivery pilot scans the RFID to validate the order details and the fuel limit etc for corporate customers. The delivery pilot can serve only the actual fuel quantity and available units. For corporate, it makes them cost effective and they can have the fuel spending statistics easily available.
